VEJA presents Arpoador, a sandal inspired by the relaxed rhythm of Brazilian beaches. Its name pays tribute to one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic viewpoints. Suede is the underside of the leather, buffed to give it a unique softness and smooth texture. It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without the use of harmful or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and prioritizes responsible water usage during the tanning process. Particular attention is paid to water consumption throughout tanning. The suede is also treated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to protect the shoes from light rain.
