The Madame Max Mara coat, a celebrated evolution of the iconic 101801 model created in 1981, has established itself as an absolute masterpiece of luxury outerwear and contemporary design. Crafted in Italy from a superb virgin wool and cashmere beaver, the piece combines softness and structure in an oversized silhouette with historically impeccable proportions. The double-breasted design features wide peak lapels and distinctive kimono sleeves, designed with adjustable cuffs to fit the length of the arms with absolute fluidity. Each profile is finished with rigorous sartorial pin stitching, an unmistakable signature of the brand`s craftsmanship, which also frames the discreet welt pockets. Finished with fine horn buttons and a matching belt to adjust the waist, the style is enriched internally with a custom Monogram jacquard lining, offering a loose and versatile fit that is also perfect over blazers.
