The Madame Max Mara coat, the celebrated evolution of the iconic 101801 model created in 1981, stands as an absolute masterpiece of luxury outerwear and contemporary design. Crafted in Italy from superb virgin wool and cashmere beaver fabric, the garment combines softness and structure in an oversized silhouette with historically impeccable proportions. The double-breasted design features wide peak lapels and characteristic kimono sleeves, conceived with adjustable turn-ups to adapt seamlessly to the length of the arms. Every edge is finished with the brand`s distinctive tailored pick stitching, also framing the discreet welt pockets. Completed by precious horn buttons and a matching belt to adjust the volumes at the waist, the model is enhanced inside by customised Monogram jacquard lining, offering a generous and versatile fit that is perfect even when worn over blazers.
