The small Summer Banana East-West tote bag by Chloé with strap expresses a sunny, artisanal aesthetic, handcrafted in Madagascar in collaboration with the social enterprise Made For A Woman. The compact body, in the vibrant Ginger Red shade, is crocheted from pure raffia through a process requiring 22–23 hours of work by three skilled artisans. The design is finished with buffalo leather inserts sourced from Leather Working Group–certified tanneries, adding structure and elegance to the double handles. The front panel is enriched with cursive embroidery inspired by the maison’s heritage and a decorative chain with charms. The raffia-lined interior includes a main compartment with a slip pocket. The model is designed for hand or shoulder carry and comes with a dust bag.
